Recreate Captain Jack Sparrow this Halloween
The Curse of the Black Pearl, Dead Man’s Chest, and At World’s End are all feature movies that make up The Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy. Everyone’s favorite character Captain Jack Sparrow, played by Johnny Depp, is the key to the factor in

the movies that is causing such popularity. With his dirty charm and witty sarcasm he has stolen the hearts of all viewers and has quickly caused pirates to become a craze. Bobble heads in the shape of characters, movies flying off the shelves, and even Halloween costumes modeled after cast members are the result of this.
Technically, Jack Sparrow does not possess just one single authentic costume. Several different versions of his outfit were worn throughout the duration of all three movies and slight changes were even made before publicity shoots and posters were taken. For the most part, the costume should include pants and a white shirt with a vest over it. If you purchase the costume in a store or online, the vest may come attached to the shirt. A fabric sash must be worn near two belts featuring attached buckles. For your head, tie a bandanna over the top and have braids coming out from underneath. If possible, attach beads to the braids exactly as Captain Jack did.
Johnny Depp even pulled off makeup as Captain Sparrow, and when recreating his costume, you should too. It is very easy to mirror his makeup. Simply line your eyes with black eyeliner and smudge throughout. Depp tends to wear it a little heavier right in the middle of his eye during all of the movies. If you are a perfectionist, pause the movie on a good shot of the Captain and mock his costume while he is on the screen. Most of all enjoy your Halloween!
